Walk-and-talk
Walk-and-talk counselling
Some people find it easier to talk side by side, out in the fresh air, than sitting face to face in a room. Walk-and-talk counselling is exactly that.
How it works
We meet at a local spot we've agreed together and walk at a gentle pace while we talk. It's still counselling, with the same care and confidentiality, just outdoors.
Moving and being outside can help thoughts flow more easily. And if you'd like to stop, sit on a bench or just take a moment, we can.
- 45 minutes, the same as any other session
- A gentle pace, with no fitness needed
- We'll choose quieter routes, and we'll agree together what happens if we bump into someone you know
Cost
£45
per session, plus a small mileage charge depending on where we meet.

Is walk-and-talk right for me?
It can suit people who feel uneasy in a counselling room, who think better on the move, or who simply love being outdoors. If you're not sure, we can talk it through in your free chat, and you can always switch to face-to-face, online or phone sessions.
