Anxiety, stress and low mood
If your mind won't switch off, you feel on edge, or everything just feels heavy right now, counselling can give you space to slow down and make sense of it. We'll go gently, and we'll look at what's going on for you, not a textbook version of it.
Grief, loss and big changes
Losing someone, a relationship ending, or a big change in life can turn things upside down. There's no right way to feel. I'll be alongside you while you find your way through it.
Trauma and difficult experiences
Some experiences stay with us long after they've happened. This can include childhood trauma, emotional abuse and domestic abuse. Talking about them can feel daunting, so we'll always go at your pace, and you never have to share more than you want to.
Support for survivors of sexual abuse
I've undertaken additional training in supporting survivors of childhood and adult sexual abuse. If this is part of your story, you're welcome here, whether it happened recently or a long time ago.
You're in control of what we talk about, and when. There's no pressure to go into detail, and we can simply start with how you're feeling today.
Not sure if counselling is for you?
That's a really common feeling. The free 15-minute chat is a no-pressure way to ask questions and see how it feels to talk to me. If I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to point you towards someone who is.
